The roots of so much house music – at 37-39mins into it there’s a First Choice vocal he uses that is the basis for at least 4 house tracks that I know, including Golden Girls, House Traffic and Kym Sims. Absolute classics.
Current music producers (myself included) should take note of the music and style of guys like Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles from those glory days. The tracks are full of great grooves and uplifting hooks – exactly what house music was, is, and always will be about. Pay homage to disco!
